This photo was taken as we were rolling into New York City at the crack of dawn after driving through the night from Massachusetts. The weather-torn roads made for a bumpy entrance into the city. We drove through the run down projects just as light began appearing in the sky. It was a stormy morning. Rain fell as we slowly cruised past the high-rise apartment buildings, and side street stores not open for business yet. This was my first time ever being in New York. I was in such awe of what I was seeing that I only snapped a few photos. It really is a different world over there.
